Not All Forehead Lifts Are Created Equal
The browlift is one of the most commonly performed procedures in plastic surgery, yet it is also one of the most difficult to perform well. It takes experience, skill, an eye for aesthetics, and an intimate knowledge of how the tissues underlying the forehead skin relate to one another, all of which Dr. Mesna has. This instrument, called an endoscope, projects real-time images onto a screen so that Dr. Mesna can monitor his work without having to access the underlying tissues through larger incisions. He is able to tighten muscles, remove excess fat, and reshape tissues through extremely small incisions made strategically behind the hairline using this endoscope.
